Mittwoch und Sonntag letzte Woche war ich am 16ten Bauabschnitt der A100, dem jetzt beinahe fertigen Teilstück von der Grenzallee in Neukölln zum Treptower Park.
Wednesday and Sunday last week, I was at the 16th construction section of the A100, the now almost finished section from Grenzallee in Neukoelln to Treptower Park.
Nördlich der Anschlussstelle Grenzallee, dem aktuellen Ende der A100 – Ich sitze auf der Neuköllnischen Allee, die hier, über der gerade gebaut werdenden Autobahn, ein asphaltierter Weg durch die sandige Baustelle ist. Weiter im Norden, Richtung Sonnenallee, kommt die Fahrbahnen aus dem Tunnel, auf dessen Deckel ich hocke. In einem Artikel im Tip habe ich gelesen, dass in dem Haus mit der ‘Leiser’ Schrift Baubüros für den Autobahnbau sind.
North of the Grenzallee junction, the current end of the A100 – I’m sitting on the Neuköllnische Allee, which here, above the highway just being built, is an asphalt path through the sandy construction site. Further north, in the direction of Sonnenallee, the lanes comes out of the tunnel, on whose lid I squat. In an article in the Tip I read that in the house with the ‘Leiser’ writing are construction offices for the highway construction.
Ich laufe weiter, immer mit ein wenig Abstand zur Autobahn, zur Sonnenallee, und ab da, westlich der Fahrbahn, zwischen Schrebergärten und Wohnbebauung zur Dieselstraße. An der Brücke über die Autobahn ist ein Gelände hinter einer Mauer, BNE-Cars Berlin steht über dem geschlossenen Tor . Von der Brücke sieht man durch den Zaun einige verunfallte Autos stehen.
Die Fahrbahn der A100 läuft, wie auf dem ganzen Abschnitt, in einer tiefen Rinne. Ich gehe weiter, westlich der Fahrbahnen durch Schrebergärten, die bis zur Wende an die Mauer grenzten.
I walk on, always with a little distance to the Autobahn, to Sonnenallee, and from there, west of the roadway, between allotment gardens and residential development to Dieselstraße. At the bridge over the highway is an area behind a wall, BNE-Cars Berlin is above the closed gate . From the bridge you can see through the fence some crashed cars standing.
The roadway of the A100 runs, as on the whole section, in a deep gutter. I go further, west of the lanes through allotment gardens, which bordered the Wall until the Wende.
Schon am Mittwoch stand ich auf der Kiefholzstraße – genau hier verlief die Mauer. Von der Brücke schaue ich auf eine Betonwand, an der die Rinne mit den Fahrbahnen Richtung Treptow abrupt endet. Die Wände sind beschriftet.
Already on Wednesday I stood on the Kiefholzstraße – exactly here the wall ran. From the bridge I look at a concrete wall, where the channel with the lanes towards Treptow ends abruptly. The walls are labeled.
Am Mittwoch kam ich von der S-Bahnhaltestelle Treptower Park. Von der Autobahnbaustelle sah ich zuerst den Bereich, in dem das Gelände für die Rampe auf eine Brücke über die Spree vorbereitet wird. Die Brücke gehört schon zum 17ten Bauabschnitt. Der soll weiter bis zur Strokower Straße führen und das Bundesverkehrsministerium ist finster entschlossen, ihn zu bauen. Auch die gerade koalitionsverhandelnden Landes-Parteien scheinen das zu wollen.
Ich stehe am Ende eines ehmaligen Bahndammes, auf dem ich von der Elsenstraße bis zur Baustelle, auf der Karte noch Matthesstraße, gelaufen bin. Graupel fallen und ich schaue auf die sandige Fläche auf der anderen Seite des Zaunes.
On Wednesday I came from the S-Bahn stop Treptower Park. From the highway construction site, I first saw the area where the site is being prepared for the ramp onto a bridge over the Spree River. The bridge is already part of the 17th construction phase. It is supposed to continue to Strokower Straße and the Federal Ministry of Transport is sinisterly determined to build it. The parties currently negotiating a coalition also seem to want it.
I am standing at the end of a former railroad embankment on which I walked from Elsenstraße to the construction site, still Matthesstraße on the map. Sleet is falling and I look at the sandy area on the other side of the fence.
