Hat Bar

In der Hat Bar am Kantdreieck gibt es wieder Live Musik – Jeden Abend ab Neun eine offene Jamsession. Zum Glück hat die Bar den Lockdown überstanden. In einem Tonnengewölbe unter der S-Bahn ist die schmale Bühne gegenüber dem Tresen, an dem gibt es Cocktail und Whisky und Bier, und auf der schmalen Bühne spielen Carolyn De Rosario Klavier, Carmelo Leotta Bass und ein Schlagzeuger, dessen Namen ich nicht weiß.

Live music is back at the Hat Bar at Kantdreieck – an open jam session every night from nine. Fortunately, the bar has survived the lockdown. In a barrel vault under the S-Bahn is the narrow stage opposite the bar, where there are cocktails and whisky and beer, and on stage Carolyn De Rosario plays piano, Carmelo Leotta bass and a drummer whose name I don’t know.

Ein nervös wirkender Mann spricht mit Pianistin und Bassist – er möchte Singen und scheint hier bekannt zu sein. auf der Bühne wirkt er auf einmal sehr present und ruhig und singt sicher und professionell.

Nach seinem Auftritt wird er von einem sehr redseligen Mann, der mit seiner Familie an der Bar sitzt befragt. Sonst singt er nur auf der Straße. Da hat er seine Stellen. Leider redet der Familienmensch sehr viel und der Sänger kommt kaum zu Wort, schließlich geht die Familie und ich frage ihn, ob ich ihn zeichnen darf. Er willigt ein. Nach Reden ist ihm nicht. Er entschuldigt sich, er müsse klären, ob die Musiker seine Lieder können – scheint so – und er geht viel hin und her.
