Enjoy Kebab

Bevor die Neue Kantstraße die Autobahn überquert ist an der Ecke vor der Brücke ein Imbiss. Drinnen darf man z.Zt. ja nicht Essen, aber dahinter auf dem Sockel des Geländers zur Autobahn hocken. Zu dem kleinen (Park)platz stehen die Müllcontainer und auf dem Schild an der Rückwand steht Snackbox. Das war der Name des Vorgänger-Imbiss, der hier heisst ‘Enjoy Kebab’, aber zum dunklen Parkplatz reicht ein altes Schild. Durch die Bäume auf dem Platz leuchtet gelb die Reklame des chinesischen Restaurant ‘Sonne’ – wärmt genauso wenig wie der (fast) volle weiße Mond im Himmel über den Häusern.

Before Neue Kantstraße crosses the motorway there is a snack bar on the corner by the bridge. At the moment you are not allowed to eat inside, but you can sit behind it on the base of the railing to the motorway. To the small (parking) place there are rubbish containers and on the sign at the back wall is written ‘Snack Box’. That was the name of the previous snack bar, now it’s called ‘Enjoy Kebab’, but an old sign is good enough for the dark car park. Through the trees on the square the advertisement of the Chinese restaurant ‘Sonne’ [sun] shines yellow – warms as neither does the (almost) full white moon in the sky above the houses.
