Ich sitze auf der Michaelbrücke. Hinter mir ist Mitte, unter der Eisenbahnbrücke hindurch sehe ich das Schild am Beginn von Friedrichshain. Von rechts kommt lautes Gewummer vom Kater Blau, dem Club am Ufer der Spree.

I’m sitting on the Michaelbrücke. Behind me is Mitte, and through the railway bridge I can see the sign marking the start of Friedrichshain. From the right comes a loud rumbling from Kater Blau, the club on the banks of the Spree.
