Vom Wohlrabe Damm in Siemensstadt führt ein Weg am Siemens Stichkanal entlang hinunter zur Spree. Der kurze Kanal liegt zwischen dem Logistik-Center der Charité und einer gelben Post/dhl-Halle. Die Einfahrt ist mit einem Rohr im Wasser und zusätzlich einem Einfahrt verbietenden Schild versperrt. Am Ufer stehen verbasterte Weiden. In der Abenddämmerung kommen nacheinander zwei Spaziergänger mit Hunden vorbei. Sonst hört man neben Entengeschnatter die Geräusche der Tegel anfliegenden Flugzeuge.
From Wohlrabe Damm in Siemensstadt, a path leads along the Siemens Stichkanal down to the Spree. The short canal lies between the Charité logistics center and a yellow Post/dhl hall. The entrance is blocked with a pipe in the water and an additional sign prohibiting entry. On the bank grow gnarled willows. At dusk, two walkers with dogs pass one after the other. Chatter of ducks and the continous sound of airplanes flying to and from Tegel.
