Die schrägen Ufer-Mauern des Humboldthafens sind mit großflächigen Graffiti versehen, ich sitze auf einer Ochsenblut-Rot bemalten Fläche auf der Berme nahe am Wasser.
Unter der Bahnbrücke wird wieder gebaut – die Fundamentierung ist mangelhaft und die 2002 eröffnete Brücke muss mit Hilfskonstruktionen gestützt werden.
Rechts über mir stehen neue Wohn- und Geschäftshäuser zwischen Hafenbecken, Spandauer Schifffahrtskanal und Invalidenstraße. Am Ufer sitzen Leute und gucken auf die Wasserfläche. Manche gehen auf die alten Kran-Bastionen.

The sloping bank walls of the Humboldt harbour are covered in large areas of graffiti, I am sitting on an area painted oxblood red on the berm close to the water.
Construction is underway again under the railway bridge – the foundations are faulty and the bridge, which opened in 2002, has to be supported with temporary structures.
Above me on the right are new residential and commercial buildings between the harbour basin, Spandauer Schifffahrtskanal and Invalidenstraße. People sit on the banks and look out over the water. Some walk up to the old crane bastions.
