Bei der Tramhaltestelle ‘Betonwerk’ zweigt der Teltowkanal von der Dahme ab. Hier trennt er Köpenick und Grünau. Ich laufe ein wenig das Grünauer Ufer des Kanals hinab und schaue zurück, Richtung Fluss.
Gegenüber ist die Uferwand, genau wie die Wand und die Gebäude dahinter, aus warmgrauem Beton, teils gerissen und bewachsen. An die Wand ist in ganz unterschiedlichen Schriften mehrmals ‘Kobolt’ gemalt, ganz rechts und recht bunt einmal ‘Kobold’.
Der Kanal hat eine leicht Strömung, Blätter und Baumblüten treiben in Richtung Havel.
The Teltow Canal branches off from the Dahme at the ‘Betonwerk’ tram stop. Here it separates Köpenick and Grünau. I walk a little way down the Grünau bank of the canal and look back towards the river.
Opposite, the bank wall, just like the wall and the buildings behind it, is made of warm grey concrete, partly cracked and overgrown. ‘Kobolt’ is painted on the wall several times in very different fonts, and finally on the far right ‘Kobold’ in very colourful letters..
The canal has a slight current, leaves and tree blossoms drift towards the Havel.
