Der Neuköllner Schifffahrtskanal zweigt vom Landwehrkanal ab und führt unter der Lohmühlenbrücke hindurch Richtung Teltowkanal. An der Brücke ist das Tor zur Treppe zum Wasser kaputt. Ich laufe runter und schaue unter der Brücke durch, Richtung Landwehrkanal.
Der Himmel ist heute frühlingshaft klar, aber es ist kalt. Menschen laufen rum, ein Paar setzt sich trotz Kälte auf ein schnelles Bier und eine Zigarette auf die Treppenbrüstung. Ich höre Skateplatz-Geräusche vom anderen Ufer, Gespräche von der Brücke, am Ende ‚Hare Krishna‘ von irgendwo aus Lautsprechern. Hier unten hört man Vieles, das man nicht sieht.
The Neuköllner Schiffahrtskanal branches off from the Landwehrkanal and runs under the Lohmühlenbrücke bridge towards the Teltowkanal. At the bridge, the gate to the stairs to the water is broken. I walk down and look under the bridge in the direction of the Landwehr Canal.
The sky is clear like spring today, but it’s cold. People are walking around, a couple sits down on the balustrade for a quick beer and a cigarette despite the cold. I can hear the sounds of skateboarding from the other bank, conversations from the bridge, at the end ‘Hare Krishna’ coming from loudspeakers somewhere. Down here you can hear a lot of things you cannot see.
