An der Ecke Hallesches Ufer / Großbeerenstraße “[…] entsteht ein Objekt der Art Invest”, so steht es zumindest auf dem Bauzaun am Rand einer Grube. Das Wasser, das in die Grube sickert, wird durch blau gestrichene Rohre über die Straße in den Landwehrkanal gepumpt. An dessen Ufer führt die U1 als Hochbahn entlang. Zwischen deren Stelzen hindurch sieht man den Verbindungsgang, der am Bahnhof Möckernbrücke über den Kanal zur U7 führt.
At the corner of Hallesches Ufer and Großbeerenstraße, “[…] an object of Art Invest is being built”, at least that’s what it says on the construction fence at the edge of a pit. The water that seeps into the pit is pumped through blue-painted pipes across the street into the Landwehrkanal. The U1 elevated railway runs along its banks. Between its stilts one can see the connecting passage that leads across the canal to the U7 at Möckernbrücke station.
