Unter der alten Schleuse Charlottenburg spiegelt sich rostiges Eisen in der Spree. Die beiden Kammern der alten Schleuse werden nicht mehr genutzt – auf der anderen Seite der Insel wartet ein großes Binnenschiff vor dem Tor der neuen Schleuse angetäut im Westhafenkanal./
Rusty iron is reflected in the Spree below the old Charlottenburg lock. The two chambers of the old lock are no longer in use – on the other side of the island, a large inland vessel waits moored in the Westhafenkanal in front of the gate of the new lock.
